Participation in the award ceremony of the All-Ukrainian competition “Young Scientist of the Year” (18.05.2024, Kyiv)

On 18 March 2024, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine participated in the award ceremony for the laureates of the All-Ukrainian Competition “Young Scientist of the Year”. The event was organised by the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and held at the Kyiv House of Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The competition aimed to recognise the significant achievements of young scientists across various fields and areas of activity. The competition featured 100 nominations, divided into four categories, reflecting current realities and the practical contributions of researchers to the national economy, scientific and public communities.

Zhanna TALANOVA, Deputy Coordinator and Manager for Analytical Work at the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine and Coordinator of the National Team of Experts on Higher Education Reform (HERE team), presented the extensive opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme to Ukrainian researchers. She emphasised the importance of international collaboration in advancing science in Ukraine and shared successful examples of Ukrainian scientists participating in various Erasmus+ projects. Special attention was given to research grants, academic exchange opportunities, and other educational possibilities that foster the professional development of young scientists and their integration into the global research community.
